How it works

One-off session

An opportunity to try out mindfulness, and see if it feels like the right thing.
Typical session length is 45 mins.

Four-week course

A perfectly structured 4-week course, suited to meet your child’s needs, with home practice options for the week following each session.

Weekly sessions

Build up your child’s mindfulness skills over time - with a time slot booked for them weekly, and flexibility on what we practice.

*All options possible for individuals, siblings, and small groups (3-4 children)

  • We can organise this at your convenience, however sessions usually run for 45 minutes. It is also possible to spend 60 minutes (including a little more ‘playing mindfulness’ and discussion) if you need the time to get some things done.

  • It is completely up to you. I can host sessions in my studio in Dalston (E8), or I can come to you if you are local.

It is also possible to run sessions online.

  • Currently I focus on working with primary school age children. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a query about a child of a different age though - I’m constantly expanding my offerings and keen to know what people need so I can serve you better.

  • One adult should technically stay for the session (as per standard regulations), unless written permission is given. It is not a problem for me if you give permission and take the time to run errands/ do other things while we work.

  • Absolutely not - every session is designed to be accessible and engaging, regardless of level of experience

Nice to knows:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate

  • Accredited Mindfulness teacher
    (BPS approved)

  • PhD exploring Mindfulness (UCL)✓

  • MSc Cognitive Neuroscience

Meet your mindfulness teacher

Hi! I’m Emily - a certified mindfulness teacher. I’m actually a scientist by training, and spent years researching mindfulness before deciding to commit to facilitating and teaching full time. I love sharing fun facts about ‘how this stuff works’, which children often love.

My approach focuses on empathy and compassion, and I lead with openness and curiosity - balancing evidence-backed techniques with more playful tools, to create a truly enjoyable learning experience.

“Emily held an exquisitely curated space with deep care and professionalism. Her presence was both grounded and attuned, and she guided participants with clarity, gentleness, and confidence… Emily demonstrated a rare combination of skill, sensitivity, and wisdom…”
